Our StoryWe were introduced through a mutual friend in 2004 and instantly felt comfortable with each other. Building a life together has just flowed from there. We often take walks through the city or hike along the coast or go hear live music. We love to spend time with friends or just hang out and read the newspaper and cuddle with Tita, our cat. We are thrilled to have found each other and can’t wait to expand our family to include a little one.
At first meeting we might seem like opposites. Ruth can be shy at first, especially in a group, while Julie is more talkative. But underneath we have very similar tastes – from foreign films and action flicks, to tandoori (Indian barbecue) and tostones (fried plantains). Most importantly, we have similar values. For us, it’s all about respect.
